In the year 1981 Mrs. Ratna Iyer (Vimla) founder of the institution started a small school at Nai Abadi a humble beginning with only five children. Her self confidence, courage and fortitude coupled with her firm determination and dedication to the cause of education did not fail to attract attention of the people of all the sections of the society.
